This is a bowl that I threw on the wheel. I had to learn how to pull up slowly while maintaining a consistent pressure on the project in order for a bowl to form. I had many failed attempts before successfully doing so. So much clay ripped... I have to make a perpendicular geometric angle with my hands to apply force with in order to center the clay and get the desired circle shape and then cylinder form. Increasing the space within the clay opened the clay up, beginning the formation of a bowl. You being balanced and having precise movements is key in your project being balanced and coming together in harmony. The colors of this bowl make me feel dark and gloomy, but in a peaceful way. As if you've come to terms with it so you're comfortable. "...the gentle indifference of the world" -Mearsault
